Have you sorted out your the problem yet? MX4 doesn’t have built-in support for Wordpress Widgets. Here you can find an article on Widgetizing Themes: http://automattic.com/code/widgets/themes/

Anyway, my optimized version shouldn’t affect widget support (or non-support) for this theme.

so I can install sidebar plugins like this Flickr one - http://www.erik-rasmussen.com/blog/2006/09/14/flash-flickr-badge-widget-for-wordpress/

have uploaded the plugins but am having trouble editing the MX4 theme to accomadate this Sidebar Widget Plugin

Any ideas would be really great as there are a few sidebar plugins I would like to use
