WPG2 version 3.0 was released recently and with it came a few related changes. The support forums are now over at Gallery. The old one is still available for archive purposes although I don’t know for how long.
WPG2 3.0.x changes how Wordpress themes need to be optimized. I’m not sure yet how exactly but I’ll be looking into this as soon as I can. Up to now, all the themes available on this site are optimized for WPG2 2.x so please be aware of this when downloading any of the themes. Having said that though, it appears that the themes still work fine with WPG2 3.0.x. I have WPG2 3.0.2 currently running on this site and the themes seem to be okay.
Any new themes I optimize from now on will be for WPG2 3.0 or later so they probably won’t work well with earlier versions of WPG2.
There are a lot of questions/problems about getting WP themes to work with the WPG2 embedded gallery. So, I’ve been testing various themes on this Dev Site. Now, I’ve decided it would be good to have a Theme Switcher so people can check different themes and see how they look with WPG2. Eventually, I’ll also add links to these themes so that you can download them.
Unfortunately, the Theme Switcher doesn’t work well with embedded gallery. So the main WP site looks fine but when you the visit the Photo Gallery, it may get messed up. Some modifications will be needed to the Theme Switcher plugin and hopefully we can get it working seamlessly.

UPDATE (10 May, 2006): It works now! Thanks to Ozgreg for making the necessary mods to WPG2.
So it's time again for an upgrade. This time, Gallery 2.1.1. Initially, it broke the URL rewrites for embedded Gallery. After upgrading WP 2.1 Alpha1 to the latest nightly (2006-04-17), it's working again.
I've now installed the official releases of Gallery 2.1 and WPG2 2.0. I've also installed WordPress 2.1 Alpha1. So far, so good…
